THE PINMAR GOLF 2016
Thank you to all involved in the 28th Pinmar Golf for your great support and participation and also for your very kind response - we have had dozens of positive emails which make all the effort very worthwhile.
The final scores are available here, and many congratulations to M.Y. Zenobia on winning the Pinmar Trophy for the first time and also to all the other winners listed here.
This year's event had 320 players and collectively all of you, along with your friends and guests and our wonderful sponsors and hard-working volunteers, raised a magnificent figure of €81.000 for the Pinmar Golf Charity Fund which is a new record and takes our total over our 28 years to €843,000. For more information on the money raised please see our Charities page.
The 2016 Gallery is now full of photos and videos - a very big thank you to our still photographers, Dave Page, Stuart Pearce, Susan Barwood, and Simon Williams.
Also to our videographers Alejandro Dioscorides, of The Organic Battery and Paul Miller of Palma Multimedia.
We are pleased to announce that Pinmar has signed an ambassador agreement with former Open Champion Paul Lawrie.
Given Pinmar’s longstanding association with golf as well as the popularity of the sport in the superyacht industry, Pinmar saw a natural fit to align themselves with such a high profile golfer as Lawrie. Executive Chairman of GYG, Remy Millott commented: “We’re delighted to be announcing this partnership with Paul given his achievements and profile as a great ambassador to golf. We look forward to having him represent the company and also host our clients over the coming years.”
Lawrie was equally as pleased to be announcing the association with Pinmar, and commented: “I’m really excited to have Pinmar on board as a new sponsor and look forward to working closely with them at their very prestigious annual golf event.”
The agreement will see Lawrie wearing the Pinmar logo on his cap, starting with the British Masters at The Grove.
